2010 SES Conference
Planning has commenced for the 2010 SES Conference. The conference is a joint SESVA/FESA initiative. The conference will be held on the 12th and 13th November 2010 culminating with the SES awards night. Planning is only in its early stages and further details will be provided when available. The first task for the organizing committee was to review the feed back sheets from last year’s conference and to consider the comments made by the delegates. What worked well and what didn’t and what and what can be don’t better. Then there was this year’s theme and who will be the keynote speakers. There is a lot of work to do but this year’s conference is very much on track.
The conference will held at the same venue as last year the Meccure Hotel 10 Irwin street Perth which is conveniently located in the Perth Central Business District, Mercure Hotel Perth is close to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Just a short stroll from the Swan River, Perth Mint and Supreme Court Gardens; you'll find many of Perth’s attractions nearby.
The conference will generally follow the format from last year with presentations an workshop sessions spread over the two days. The main change this year is the addition of the SESVA AGM which will occur at the end of the conference. The SESVA/FESA organising committee will be working hard to provide you with an interesting and informative conference with great key note speakers, trade displays and much more.
Each SES unit will be invited to send two delegates to the conference with travel and accommodation costs met by FESA. Later this year your Unit will be contacted by your District Manager to arrange travel and accommodation arrangements for your delegates.
The organising committee has commenced discussions with possible keynote speakers and trade exhibitors.
